This policy describes what information DollarRoots (www.dollarroots.com) collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. The short version: we have no accounts, we never ask for your name or email to use a calculator, and the numbers you type into our tools are processed in your browser — they are not sent to or stored on our servers.

Information we collect

  • Calculator inputs:the salaries, amounts and rates you enter stay in your browser. Some preferences (such as your country selection) are saved in your browser's localStorage so the site remembers them on your next visit. You can clear this at any time via your browser settings.
  • Analytics: we use Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate traffic — page views, referrers, country-level location, device type. It does not use cookies and does not identify individual visitors.
  • Server logs: our hosting provider (Vercel) may log IP addresses and request metadata for security and operational purposes, as is standard for any website.

Advertising and cookies

DollarRoots is supported by advertising. We use (or plan to use) Google AdSense to serve ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites:

  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' cookies at aboutads.info.

What we never do

  • We never sell or share your personal information.
  • We never ask for financial account details.
  • We never store the financial figures you type into a calculator.

Children's privacy

DollarRoots is a general-audience site and does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.
